The Dream Corps is looking for a Digital Organizer to develop and implement digital engagement strategies that support our programs, with an emphasis on Green For All campaigns; build and operate the tech tools needed to grow, cultivate and mobilize people online; and maintain our digital platforms to advance solutions-based campaigns. This includes list growth, digital advocacy, some database management, creation of resources for digital days of action, and updating website content. The Digital Organizer sits in the Engagement Department and serves Dream Corps initiatives as needed. This particular position is expected to spend a majority of their time supporting Green For All campaigns for an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty. This is a fast-paced, self-driven position that requires a blend of interpersonal skills, creativity & flexibility, familiarity working with various tech platforms, ability to learn new tools and platforms quickly and a willingness to complete different tasks every day. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, always learning, a strong problem-solver, and enjoys fast moving, collaborative environments. 


  • Lead email engagement strategy and coordination for assigned program (ActionKit)

  • Lead digital campaign development and implementation for assigned program and campaigns.

  • Build and manage the digital tools and platforms needed to support digital advocacy (i.e. peer to peer texting, call tools, petition pages, etc.) 

  • Develop process for cultivating and managing distributed volunteer teams.

  • Set up and manage volunteer tasks such as peer-to-peer texting campaigns, and coordinate volunteer program with support from program organizing leads.

  • Comply with digital security protocols across the company.

  • Stay current on new digital advocacy and tech tool trends and best practices.

  • Help ensure a positive experience for our members, leaders and volunteers online.

  • Support cross-initiative coordination and collaboration that engages and supports organizing and engagement leads within each initiative.

  • Assist with website maintenance.

  • Pull reports and analytics regularly to share with the team.

  • Interpret reports and analytics to improve systems.

  • Collaborate with Fundraising and Communications departments to implementation online fundraising strategy.

  • Collaborate with digital vendors/contractors for website, email, graphic design, digital security, etc. as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned, including huge projects and minuscule tasks.

Minimum Requirements

  • Alignment with our core values and commitment to the vision of the Dream Corps

  • A demonstrated commitment to racial and economic justice

  • A solid understanding of basic organizing principles 

  • Demonstrated experience effectively working on issue-based campaigns

  • Familiarity with and ability to effectively use digital advocacy tools (i.e. call tools, petition pages, peer to peer texting)

  • Ability and commitment to learn new organizing technology 

  • Solid campaign writing skills

  • Clear, honest and consistent communication

  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work with people of different backgrounds and skill levels toward common goals

  • High attention to detail and high personal standards for work quality

  • Ability to think positively, problem solve and adapt to a changing landscape

  • Ability to think strategically and to execute

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • Ability to track multiple projects at the same time and manage time well

  • Ability to be productive and engaged in a remote team. (Our staff is based in different locations across U.S.). 

Additional skills are a PLUS:

  • Experience using Slack as a communication tool 

  • Experience using Asana for project management

  • 2+ years of online or distributed organizing experience

  • Experience developing and implementing successful list acquisition and growth strategies

  • SQL and/or HTML/CSS/javascript

  • Working knowledge and experience using ActionKit

  • Experience doing peer-to-peer texting 

  • Experience managing email campaigns

  • Experience with online fundraising
