Green For All, a program of the Dream Corps, works at the intersection of environmental, economic, and racial justice movements to advance solutions to poverty and pollution. Our mission is to build an inclusive clean economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty. 



Green For All seeks a senior level Campaign Manager to add to our growing team. As the Common Ground on Climate campaign shifts focus from the federal to the state level, we need a person who understands politics, how state legislation moves through governmental bodies, and how to get things done. The Senior Campaign Manager will be a thought partner to the Campaign and Policy teams to help win equitable climate solutions in several targeted states across the country.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Policy and Campaign Management: 

  • Work closely with the Campaign Director and Director of Policy to develop policy platforms, legislative agendas, and written reports on our issue areas across targeted states.
  • Provide strategic guidance on effectively moving decision-makers (including power mapping, identifying targets, choosing high-impact strategies, etc) in collaboration with the campaign team. 
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on emerging legislation, regulations, and policy developments on clean energy, clean transportation, green jobs, and sustainable agriculture.
  • Support drafting and submission of position letters and public comments to promote wealth and health in black, brown, and rural communities. 
  • Research and prepare issue briefs, one-pagers, action alerts, bill summaries, talking points, internal memos, and other content as needed.
  • Manage and coordinate meetings and events with elected and appointed officials and their staff, including decision-makers from both sides of the aisle.
  • Build and maintain exceptional professional relationships with policymakers, state agencies, partners, and coalitions across party lines.

Program Administration: 

  • Contribute input and participate in our department and organization-wide strategic annual planning process
  • Participate in weekly Green For All and Campaign team meetings, All-staff meetings, and annual retreats
  • Contribute to a positive, productive, and collaborative working environment
  • Maintain accurate calendars, CRM databases, and legislative tracking systems for effective information sharing in our remote culture


  • ~10-20% - Must be willing and able to travel occasionally, including for in-person staff meetings and retreats

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of electoral or legislative advocacy campaign experience with a track record of success
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree (MPA, MPP, JD) preferred
  • Must have knowledge of clean energy, clean transportation, or workforce development policy issues.
  • A strong demonstrated commitment to racial and economic justice is required
  • Excellent writing skills and an ability to adapt wonky and complex policy language for external audiences.
  • Ability to organize your time to maintain high levels of productivity in a 100% remote environment


Preferred Education/Skills/Experiences:

We are especially interested in candidates who have legislative experience working to advance federal or state policy, have strong written and verbal communications skills, and have a passion for bridging divides and bringing people together around a common cause. Candidates who have been personally impacted by climate disruption, environmental racism, and/or economic oppression; or have spent significant time living and working in communities impacted by these issues are strongly encouraged to apply. Other qualifications include:


  • Demonstrated ability to develop and leverage working relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and diverse stakeholders 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work effectively
  • Experience working in driven and fast-paced teams, often working under pressure while maintaining congenial relationships and high quality of work
  • Willing to take initiative, exercise good judgment, and use diplomacy and discretion
  • Experience working for government leaders or on political campaigns is a strong plus

All full-time employees receive Medical, Dental & Vision coverage. Dream Corps pays 100% of premiums for employees, their spouse, and dependents. Part-time employees receive 50% coverage. After a 6-month waiting period, employees can contribute to our retirement plan. Currently, Dream Corps offers up to a 5% match. We also offer flexible spending, pre-tax program for medical expenses, dependent care expenses, transit expenses, and parking expenses. All full-time Dream Corps employees accrue 4 weeks of vacation time off and 12 days of sick time off over the first year of employment. Part-time employees accrue time off on a prorated basis. In addition to 10 paid holidays, Dream Corps also provides paid time off from December 24th through January 1st each year.
